Composition as research and/or experiment

Some experiences in the field of contemporary music. This contribution tries to describe some specific situations and settings within the field of the Music since 1945 which we can define as “research” and/or experiment. But are they comparable to research experiences f.e. in the fields of natural sciences? Questions like that can underline differences – and are sometimes even very helpful to explain the necessity and importance of music today
